I will not, however, get a connection time out error of any sort in Chrome, and the tab usually just remains white. I will either open a new tab in Chrome and it will fail to load a webpage or I will attempt to load a program and nothing will happen. It has always happened while Google Chrome was open and in use, but I have no way to know if that information is relevant as Google Chrome gets a lot of use. I am unsure of what triggers it, but my computer has been locking up at points during use. At first I thought that my internet connection was dropping out, but I quickly realized that my software was failing, not the internet connection. I am not sure these problems have anything to do with malware of any kind, but I don't know of a better place to go for help.
